Our Mission
The Golden Eagles are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that are the custodians for the Men’s and Women’s USA Rugby National Sevens programs. We fiscally support the programs to allow the teams to compete on an even playing field with other more developed rugby playing nations. We take a holistic approach towards our athletes by providing career advancement opportunities through a well developed internship and job opportunity program called CARE (Career Advancement Rugby Enhancement). In short, we support our athletes to win on the field and work hard to create opportunities for the same athletes to prepare themselves for a professional career during and after their playing days are over.
Financially
We are proud that 100% of all donations received by the Golden Eagles go directly to the USA Rugby Sevens program for asset and equipment purchases, event support, player development and age-grade pathways.
Mentoring
The Golden Eagles provide mentorship in helping our athletes think about their future and life after rugby. We help them to prepare and open doors to opportunities in careers that may be of interest to them. We guide the athletes to challenge themselves off the field, while still being able to compete at the highest level when their name is called.
